I have a very small crack that is taking on water in my 2004 hobie sport

I have identified the problem and I am trying to figure out the best way for a home fix.

Would you recommend some of the bonds / glues etc? If so do I apply on the inside and outside of the hull? or just outside?

Do you recommend one of the kayak welding kits instead?? or would it be too much for a hairline crack?

What would be the most permanent in getting the boat back the normal conditioned?

ps- any suggestions for quick fix kits to carry with us if this happens again away from shore?

thanks for reading, I am new to repairs

I used a white marine epoxy, purchased at Ace Hardware ($3.99) to repair a somewhat large crack in the mirage drive well of my Hobie Outback. Had lots of water in the hull prior to repair. Had the Hobie rep actually attempt repair with the weld-gun and plastic glue but it didn't work. I applied it to the exterior of the boat (bottom portion of the hull) and just to make sure it didn't leak put a few strips of white duck tape on the expoxy before it dryed. Not a drop of water in the hull after repair, granted it didn't look real great, but on the bottom of the boat who cares. I would imagine you could do it in the interior of the boat but it might be harder to work with depending on where the crack is. Worked for me.
