If you wanted to paddle a Mirage Sport, would it be any more difficult then the Lanai ? ( similar dimensions ).
The reason I ask is because I've read about how great the peddling is, but many then say the Mirage kayaks are not so great paddling...

Cbass,

I don't have a lot of experience with other kayaks but a few days ago I and a friend went on a 6-7 mile journey with 2 sports and we did a fair amount of paddling. It was a great work out and I found if I put my seat in a more upright position it worked out well. Just had to get into a rythm and off we went. I experimented with having the fins straight down and the rudder in the water and that seemed to work out good for me. Had to adjust the rudder once in a while but tracking seemed good. The adventure and the new revolution really look like they'd be great for paddling with more bang for each paddle.
