Pull the fin and fix the tear with Marine Goop - wonderful stuff. As for the shaft, it can be straightened in a vise, or take a couple pairs of vise grips between the bend and manually straighten it out. I straightened mine at the launch ramp once simply by placing the shaft on the concrete bend side up and hitting it with a flat rock. Straightened right out...

A layer of Gorilla Tape over the damaged area works wonders too.......If you use Marine Goop, I would still cover the "repaired area" with Gorilla Tape.
It's the pits to damage a new fin and bend the mast.
If this is the standard fin, you could consider upgrading to the Turbo fins and save the originals as spares.
The Turbo fin is a super improvement over the standard fins.

By the way, Marine, Plumbers, Sportsmans, Home, Shoe, etc., GOOP is GOOP. Same product. Only the label on the package is different.

If you like using a smaller nozzle, and one that doesn't plug as easily, try E6000. It's also, GOOP.

I have to say that striking the rod with a rock does not sound like such a good idea. There are expensive plastic parts where you are hitting with a rock.
Take the fin off, place the drive on the ground and bend slowly with your hands. The shaft will bend fairly easly and your not striking it with a rock.
