I must have the hull variance thing going on cause the new drive rocks easily back and forth once it is seated correctly. Most of the time I have my feet on the pedals so no biggie, but while fishing and trying to ease into spots, the bump of the drive bothers me a bit. I did try the tape and tubing but I haven't found a tube with enough wall diameter to plug the gap. The splash guard is a nice addition. I added those to the older drives.
