I have seen a few posts with folks making the foot/heel straps to use rather than the standard over the foot ones. My feet are just too wide (with waders) for the straps.

I only wish I could make a few, just not that handy. ANy super simple solutions out there?

For the cheapest, home made heel strap, take 1/8" diameter nylon line and tie it to the molded strap fittings on the pedals.......the length needed is a function of your shoe size.....take your shoe/wader boot and place it on the pedal to find the length of line needed for the "loop" ...this is easy to do. :!:
