Kayak creep?

Hi,

I live in Tasmania where the weather is cool.
I've recentlety bought an outback.
I've read how to store the kayak and while not using I rest it on its side.
If I'm down at the beach doing a trip full of gear can I just beach the kayak on the sand ( with the gear ondoard) and not worry about the kayak getting distorted.?and therefore not have to unpack it?
Can I also sit on it while it's on the lawn?
The manual says not to leave the trolley in for more than an hour.
Can I load the kayak and still use the trolley getting it to the water without any damage?
Do the black foam blocks help maintain the kayaks shape and maybe also help with flotation? I suppose they shouldn't be removed, even the loose longer one?
Sorry for so many questions......dont want to find my expensive toy flat and melted under all my gear.

The black foam blocks are to provide positive flotation should the kayak hull fill with water. Depending on where they are located, they sometimes add support to high stress areas such as underneath the seat tub or similar.

Pulling your loaded kayak onto a beach while you eat lunch or take a nap isn't likely to hurt it. Sitting in it while it's beached won't do much harm either, but we're talking about periods of short duration. Any time you plan to leave the kayak out of the water for extended periods, say days at a time, you'd surely want to unload it and store it on its side. And the hotter the weather the more you'll want to pay attention to this.

It does make sense to store it correctly for long term and , I agree, short term weight and heat shouldn't do any damage, I hope.

Hard roof racks in the heat could leave a dent , but sitting on beach fully loaded , even in the heat shouldn't cause any issues.
