Hi! After we've been using our kayak, we are painfully itchy (from fiberglass?) all over. Is there anything we can do to seal the surface of the kayak? Any advice is much appreciated! Thank you!!

Hobie kayaks are made of polyethylene, not fiberglass. Unless you and your family all have allergies to plastic, I don't think it's the kayak that made you all itchy. More likely you came into contact with something environmental. Here in Nebraska the water is quite warm in all of our man-made lakes which leads to bacteria and algae blooms. The other place we sail/kayak is in Michigan. Swimmers itch is the affliction up there. Again, this is caused by a parasite that the ducks carry. Whatever the cause I hope everyone gets to feeling better!
