I bought a 2016 outback and had a hook 4 gps/fish finder installed by the dealer. The battery installation prevents me from using the liner in the front hatch. When I questioned with the installer looked confused. Is this standard? Is there no other place to install the battery and still accessibility of the battery without eliminating other accessories?

The rear hatch is the other most convenient place. The Hobie battery holder drops right in and stays in place, still allowing the hatch to close and seal.

I used the rear hatch too, very easy to get to while on land.
