Don't hesitate to use your warranty if necessary, to get this resolved! It might be worthwhile to inspect another similar boat at your dealer for any differences in routing or application. Best of luck! 8)

Here is a phone pix of the right side rudder control grommet. I have decided to rotate the sleeve to spread out the wear on the it. This is the damage after 5 fishing trips. Hopefully at some point the guide hole will be wide enough not to wear away anymore.

The silicone spray did the trick. Yesterday's 5 plus hours and no issues except I got the "sailing rudder" perpendicular to the hull while peddling and had a bear of a time getting it parallel again. The water pushing against that flat surface pretty much inhibited it from rotating back. Something to think about.
