Just got the parts in for an upgrade from V1 to V2 on my mirage drive. No problem with anything except the bolting of the drum and pedal. The V1 had a bolt passing through both with a nut securing them. This bolt does not seem long enough to pass completely through on the V2. It also acts like it may be too large to enter the rear hole of the drum. Hobie shows the same part number for the bolt on both the V1 and V2 but no nut is shown for the V2. I'm thinking that maybe the bolt just force threads itself into the drum and does not use a nut. Can anyone advise me on this?

Bolt self taps into V2 hubs, no nut required
