I own a revolution 16 mirage drive kayak with turbo fins. it is 2 years old. I have had 3 broken cranks so far. I am referring to the metal arm holding the pedal . Any one else has had this problem?

Quite a while back, there a term called 'fisherman's feet' with hobie mirage drives, I haven't heard it in the last few years. Basically when a fisherman was reeling in a big one with both feet on the pedals, apparently the pedal arms sometimes broke. Thus the term fishermans feet. This is not likely your problem, but I thought I would mention it from way back when.

Looks like a more common problem than I thought. Hobbie has sent me new upgraded cranks made of a different metal. Hopefully they will last longer than the previous version.
