FYI - yes, the compass has 'molded-in' side grips on both sides, they are on the inside of the deck near the seat for the best balance point. |

Good to see I'm not the only one thinking about it. Your suggestion is a great option at around $10 each handle. I prefer rigid handles though, like the ones on the current Revolutions ($19 each): Another idea is either to put 9" H-Rails on either side of the seat: 9" H-rails ($20 each?) OR maybe even a pair of Pro-Angler bow handles ($17 each) But it doesn't look like it would be easy to access the interior of the hull to mount a backing plate or use nut+washer to support the handles' bolts. Thoughts? |

Jcanracer, excellent suggestions! Hull access through the 8" hatch should be an easy reach. |
