Purchased a Lowrance Ready Fishfinder Installation Kit with my new Hobie. Dealer installed, everything is fine EXCEPT...the charger no longer works after only 6 months of use. Battery is fine, have to charge using another charger, but is PIA having to rig an adapter to use with battery clamps on my charger and having to rig up something to use with the cable plug on the Hobie battery. Can I get just a new charger replacement...only 6 months of use and it craps out doesn't seem right to me. Should I take this up with my dealer or can I just send it the old one back direct to Hobie for an exchange? My dealer is over an hour drive for me one way...2 hours driving to get an exchange for a faulty part is a PIA also! (Presuming he can even exchange it or stocks a replacement charger.) Please advise...thank you!

Simple answer - Yes.

Just contact your dealer and they'll file a warranty claim for you directly. There is a 1 year warranty on all Hobie parts and accessories.
