Friend of mine broke this piece:

He ordered the replacement but is there a sort of "Mirage drive 180° service guide" to know how to change the piece?

That failure will require a complete spine replacement. The sprockets are not easily changed. Very complicated assembly, so we only have it as a complete assembly.
