Flat upside- down onto the x bars is best - not right side up with cradles... the easiest (and least expensive method too.. Bonus!) You can put the pads on the x bars - we offer some nice Hobie ones (we have aero style and regular in two different widths 24" and 36" in our catalog, talk to your Hobie dealer - we also have Hobie cinch straps)
