Outback transport on SUV

Hi guys,
Just looking for some advice . I have a 2017 outback that I used as much as I could last year. I have a small SUV and have the Yakima 66 round bars and a canoe loader bar on the passenger side of the car to help me load the kayak on the roof. I usually have no problems until I go to flip the kayak over. This is where the struggle begins and with the kayak being awkward my car is taking a beating and so is the kayak and I’m done loading this way. I’m thinking of adding the Yakima showboat 66 , a set of Yakima hully rollers and a set of mako saddles so I can transport it keel down . Does anyone use this setup and if so is the kayak ok being transported on the saddle and the roller ( as the second set of saddles) or do people generally use 2 sets of saddles . Also if you think that the showboat loader without the rollers is good enough please let me know . Thanks for your time !

This is the setup I had for my 2010 Outback on top of my 2007 Subaru Outback.
2 pair of Mako saddles and the showboat roller/loader......IMHO, a excellent set up and worth every penny!

Thank you for the reply and sharing your set up. I’m gonna try the showboat but I’m just torn right now as whether to get 2 pairs of mako saddles or 1 pair of saddles and a pair of hully rollers. I’m just trying to make sure that the outbacks hull won’t be dented from being transported on the rollers when it’s strapped down. Thank you again

The Mako saddles shown above did not dent my Outback......they conform nicely to the hull shape.
When securing the straps, you don't need to over tighten them and I used both a bow and stern safety line.
