I do the same kind of fishing.

I had a revo s-l, loved it, cast far, great manners. Really had to stay on top of the maintenance or it would quickly crap up.
Also used a citica 201. Not as sweet but requires less maintenance. The drag numbers vary a lot with the revo at 25 and the shimano at 8. That is irrelevant. Both great reels. Shimano is a bit more salt tolerant but with the revo I consistently outcast spinners with all but the lightest lures. Can't go wrong with either.

I use shimano curado 200, daiwa lexa 300 and abu revo 500. The shimanos are smaller and do not cast as well or as far - they have a mechanical casting brake system that is rather basic. The daiwas cast well with their easily adjusted magnetic brake and have huge drag for their size. The abus are the best casters, again mag brake, but are the largest so better for bigger lures and they have similar max drag to the daiwas. I use them all in salt & off my kayak but i don't notice a huge amount of difference in that respect: I always rinse in fresh after use and do a very occasional service but that's all, and they all seem to keep going well enough.
