Hello, I'm looking into purchasing a used 2015 Mirage Revolution 13 Kayack. In reading some older posts, some of the posters commented on staying away from drives that are "twist & lock" and go with the newer "click & lock" drives. My question is, did the 2015 year models come with the twist & lock or the click & lock? Thanks. Other then that, any other items that I should be looking for with a used Revolution?

A 2015 will have the newer V2 drive.

You should be good to go on that front.

I believe the last year for the twist lock was around 2008 but definitely way before 2015. You'll be good for that boat. Like the previous poster said, just verify the model year with the serial number. You can also go by the seat. I believe 2015 was the first year for the vantage seat (lawn chair style, not just a padded seat).

Thanks for the responses and that's what I wanted to hear. Also from Hobie Technical Support...

"The drives were locked in with cam lock knobs prior to 2009
Since 2009 we have click n go locks
The drive isn’t what they’re talking about – it’s part of the hull
And a 2015 is current style with regard to locking mechanisms"
