We used to haul an oasis and two revo 13’s on the roof of our Yukon Denali. Had two sets of malone wings, with the extra revo on it’s side tied between the other two. Hated the Malone wings, tore a few of those malone wings off in Tampa airport parking garage, (yea I fly a lot, oops). Was one of the main reason for us getting a TI, (one family boat for all, lol). Don’t do what I did, it was aweful, ( all the hulls had dents from the wings). Actually we now use the Thule Aerobars on our truck, ( with the TI over the bed). What we do is put the boat up there, then slide in 1.5” dia x 8 ft long wood closet poles. We just slide the loose poles under the boat via the grooves on 11” centers running the entire length of the boat. We have pool noodles slid over just the ends of the poles, just over the cab. Problem is the truck is I think about 24 ft long and the boat is 21 ft long so the bow over the middle of the hood, ( almost to the front), so we need side stays/straps on the bow. Everything is cranked down with ratchet straps. AMA’s are put on while on roof, all three masts, ( with sails furled around them, in sail bags usually), are stuffed between the hull and AMA’s, ( I think they help support the boat). Long way of describing the closet poles, that’s all we use anymore. FE
