Hi - Sorry if this has been detailed in previous posts -- new to the forum.
Any tips on replacing the in-hull eyelets? Leaned back in my Compass seat when setting the hook on a striper and the eyelet that the backrest strap attaches to broke. The warranty process is in motion with my local dealer, but I wanna get out this weekend and so plan to swap the broken one for the eyelet that holds the Mirage Drive bungee in place when it's not in use.

Any tips, or is it a pretty straightforward process?

Thanks.

They thread in. You can use a needle nose plier spread open and inserted into the two indents... lefty loosey... to get the damaged one out.

We also have a special tool available.

Thanks for the quick reply. Seemed like a simple process but wanted to make sure. Recommend any sealant (silicone, etc)?

The holes are molded solid... small cups. No sealant required.
