My old Sport takes on water through the rudder line holes if I put a bunch of fish in the cooler. Is anyone familiar with a way to convert the rudder to a twist and stow, or a fix for water coming in the holes (besides losing weight)?

Thanks!

If you cut little blocks out of closed cell foam, I use the foam meant for concrete expansion joints as it has small cells rather than pool noodles. Cut a slit in it and slip it over the cable exit point, trimmed for neatness, and silicone/goop in place. Works wonders at keeping water out. If it eventually falls off (mine have lasted ages) just replace with another one.

yep solved that annoying issue of that half a pint of water that always seems to end up in there on a choppy day in the low profile adventure/revo 16 hulls. Should work well on any model
