Rudder position for storage

I recently purchased a 2018 Revo 13.

While I was doing some research on the forum about proper storage I came across an old thread about issues from having the rudder pulled up for extended periods of time (the thread was related to PAs but not sure if it extends to Revos too). It seems most natural to me to have the rudder up and under the bungee strap. But, in the PA thread the conclusion was that this places tension on the up line and can cause issues over time.

I don't see anything in the manual about proper rudder position for storage (either the up or down position).

I’m definitely excited for the new boat. I ran an OK Prowler for a few years and then did a fishing trip in a rental Hobie. Fell in love and the trip got way more expensive when I had to buy a new boat as soon as I got home.

The PA system loads up a turning block attached to the hull and that can get damaged with too much load for long periods. Just needs to be slacked off a bit.

The Twist and Stow has no real load in the system when stowed. Up is good.

Since a 2019 outback has a similar rudder the pro angler, should the rudder line be slackened during storage?
