Maybe I'm doing it wrong but syncing between all these apps is really painful, slow and inconsistent. Maybe you guys have some tips on how to do it better?
Issues I've noticed:
1. Syncing from the Boating HD app to my Elite-7 ti2 (with Navionics card) takes at least 10 minutes and only imports Routes and Waypoints, no Trails.
2. Waypoints that have been renamed in the Boating HD app get re-imported every sync.
3. Syncing from Elite-7 ti2 to C-Map Embark transfers Routes, Waypoints and Trails, but the Trails don't have any speed or time information.
4. Syncs between Boating HD app and Elite-7 ti2 just fail randomly for no good reason.
I wish there was more debugging info available, but it's very much an opaque process and there is really no options available to configure things. I appreciate the fact the options exist at all, and they weren't the reason I bought any of the devices, but it feels like there is so much promise and it has just been half-arsed.
Any tips, tricks or alternatives that work better?
