Just bought a new Passport 12 and my wife noted a dent in the forward hull. I have seen the video using hot water and air pressure but did not know if that would work at this location and with a thermoform hull. Any thoughts? Thanks

Bummer! At least it is on the bottom and would have to effect on performance.

Hot water should work. These are polyethylene, so very similar to the roto-molded versions.

Easy Dent Removal

Kayaks can be dented by various means, no need to worry, they are simple to remove. Improper storage, cart use, freight/transport, too much pressure on tie-down straps all can cause a dent in a kayak. We have the solution. Watch Jacques Bernier in the video linked below. Jacques explains the simple procedure that, as you will see, can remove even a nasty dent in the side rail of a kayak.
