I am looking for advice on how to re attach a strap to the back of the seat rest (cat no. 812690001) for a Hobie Mirage Oasis Kayak. Originally the strap was "sewn" onto the seat material. However I have been advised by a commercial seamstress that it cannot be stitched back on as there is a hard material inside the seat which prevents stitching.
Any advice greatly appreciated.
