Can anyone here confirm how Hobie Warranties work at Box Stores like REI? As it stands now REI does not perform Drive service or perform Warranty work, such as on a drive.

May require getting to a certified service location.

I thought those who sell hobie should know how to fix it? Here in New England we have seen our fair share of dealerships close and new ones pop up without much knowledge on how to fox a drive. Is there a list to show customers who are the certified service locations?

Thanks. I never knew that feature existed. I cannot believe there is not one service center in Massachusetts. The closest one is over 2 hours away.

I can recommend either Fay's or McGrew's. I've dealt with both and both are long-term Hobie dealers. I think they've been around for 20+ years. May not be close, but with boats I tend to worry more about quality. Poor quality when you're off shore tends to really ruin your day.
