I just got a 2021 Mirage Drive with Kick-up fins (reversible type) with a Revolution 13.

I'm trying to upgrade the fins to Turbo. There was nothing in the bag of the Turbo fins but the fins themselves (no instructions or tools or such).

The pins that used to hold the blades on have been replaced by an Allen-screw. I tried turning it but it seems almost glued in. Is that the way to do it? Are any instructions available online?

Thanks!

That is the way to do it. The allen screws are held in with loctite so they may not be easy to remove. Your kit should have come with its own loctite to put on the screws when you install your new turbo fins.

Just bought Turbo Fins and they did NOT come with locktight or instructions. I guess the older models do but this is 2021.

I went without locktite for a while with no problem. For something on hand, I wonder if toothpaste in the threads would be a help. It is more or less abrasive at a fine level. Of course monitor closely. It always bugged me that the whitening kinds only hint in the fine print whether it utilizes bleach or enough extra abrasive to wear your enamel half off.
