Anyone have some thoughts on kayak skins or wraps?
I am guessing if you don't like it you can peel off, but maybe not?
Any info or thoughts appreciated, I am not into stickers, but thinking this might be fun to customize your yak

I don't add non-functional accessories to my kayaks, but a legitimate reason for a wrap is to make the kayak more visible. I buy bright yellow or orange kayaks because they are more visible. The camo colored kayaks can be difficult to see on the water, which is a safety issue. If I buy a PA 360, which only come in camo colors, I'd have a wrap company add a strip of bright yellow, orange, or lime green to the sides of the kayak to make it more visible. I wish that Hobie offered the PA 360 in more visible colors.

If you can wrap such sharp angles, be aware how soft and meltable roto kayak plastic is. The hull bottom gets scraped easily and maybe shreds wraps? What I do for drab decks is cover it with colorful equipment. China makes huge very affordable drybags in intense colors.

Good points - thanks. I actually got the seagreen in passport for visibility but as it is essentially neon yellow, I was hoping for something a little more pleasing/distracting to the eyes on the hull. Good point on the scrapes. Kayak USA on YouTube put one on a hobie hull and said in the comments it had lasted well (but not sure if he is in scrapes conditions).

Im assuming this was on a rotomolded yak so I am wondering if the thermoformed polyethylene is harder to stick things too? (my dogeared passport logo on one side peeled off easily and early)

Any more thoughts or suggestions appreciated
