Yesterday I tried to install my new Hobie T handles in my Hobie paddles. The fit is so tight that I stopped trying because I was afraid of cracking the paddle. Is this normal? Should I lubricate and go for it? I hate to think what the process will be like if I decide to revert to a double paddle!

There have been several diameters of paddles... and handles to match. You may be able to sand the insert part of the handle to fit.
