Hello I upgraded my v1 drive to the gt drive. I was wondering if my drive would fit in a revo 13? The year of the revolution is 2012 or 2013? Thanks |

yes it should fit the mirage drive well. Hobie made sure the drives were interchangeable in the kayaks. |

At one point Hobie began adding lower plastic guide nubbies to the new mirage drives to make it easier to insert them at the proper angle to prevent jamming. Using these newer drives on older kayaks is possible but you need to cut these nubbies off. This is sanctioned by Hobie, mentioned several places in these forums, and does not impact the stability, sturdiness, and performance of the drives. Just use a little extra care inserting the drives as you always should. Peter |
