What are, if any, the differences between the 2007 and 2008 Revolution. My local dealer has both model years in and will give me a small discount on the 2007 model.

Thanks

what I saw was that the buckles on the seat were different, and the placement of the rear handle. My 07 has the handle in front of the rudder. My buddy's 08 has the handle under the rudder. We both have the revo fish.

Do both the 2007 & 2008 Revos come with the newer Mirage drives as seen in the following thread:

I think the early '08's came out before the newest Drive changes. As you know, Hobie often makes running changes rather than waiting till the next model year.

So whether your new boat would include the latest Drive components would likely depend on how recently it rolled off the assembly line. 8)

Thanks Fishing on Credit and Roadrunner, I'll check with the dealer and see what version of the Mirage Drive it has, if the same, I'll probably go with the slighly cheaper 2007 model.

I am pretty sure the 2007 will not have the current drive. our 08's we have in stock have a mixed selection of drives. There is nothing wrong with the 07 drives, just the 08 are a newer design.
