Using 1 1/4" pvc I made a cart today with vertical supports, but I didn't factor in (forgot to look at the hull) the 2 long grooves running fore and aft. Couldn't I just reduce down to 3/4" PVC and go straight up through the rear scuppers? Or won't that hold?

I made several carts for the scupper holes using 3/4" PVC and lawnmower wheels.

Worked great for the Sports.

They need to be reinforced. Use 1/2" metal electrical conduit pipe. Fits inside the 3/4" PVC and strengthens it. A must for when you drill pipe and add wheels.
