I'm looking for some ideas with customising a H16 white main sail. I have a red theme going and wanting to know/see what others have done in the past. I have sourced 6 300x200mm pieces in red adhesive cloth which sticks to dacron well. At this stage I'm just thinking maybe basic like stripes or stars.

Has anybody done this before or have any 'outside the square' ideas for me?

I can't say for sure as my sails will not be here until June, but if you bought "insignia cloth" it should last well.
I'm having a large seahorse (10') put on my new whirlwind sails. Chip said that it works great.

You can put your name and home port on your sails like the pros do. I've been thinking about doing that as well.

Although no one will see it because they will all be behind me on the course

Yes Todd its like "insignia cloth" so will last well.
Zach the name and home port idea seems to be an American thing and not done here in Australia. At least not on beach cats anyway. lol @ behind comment
