| Post subject: | Where to buy beach wheel rims |
I've inherited most of the important parts to make beach wheels. The only parts I don't like are the wheel rims. They have a 1" axle diameter. I'm not even sure how an axle could be made for a 1" hole that would include useful bearings. I'd like to replace it with the standard 2" rim and build all the remaining parts (delrin rod bearing, etc.). I do not want to buy an entire wheel set, which includes the tires. Anyone know where these rims can be purchased? The wheels are marked 21x12-8. The rims appear to be nylon/plastic. |
