Buxton,
Im curious what you mean by full length keel strips. Being rotomolded haven't really seen a problem with wearing.
Fiberglass is another story

The original Tattoo has a 9' keel strip, when they converted to the T2, Hobie only gives us the 2.5' strip in the rear but the holes are still molded into the boat with plastic screws in the holes. Yes rotomolded is strong but if I have to pull up on a shore line of rocks or such, not every lake has nice launches. Anything I can do to make this boat last.

Buxton,
Thanks for the clarification. Are they made with the same material as the hulls?

Probably the same plastic but solid, about 3/4" thick and 1" wide, don't remember exact. You can see the short one on most of the Hobie ad photos of it flying a hull, little black strip in the rear.

Hi Buxton, I am the buyer of your mast to boom connecter for the Bravo, from a couple of months ago. I also have a T2. I have to say that H16 sail on a T2 looks great. T2 with H16 speed is a wow! I regret buying the T2 at first because I was worried about getting replacement parts. Turning it into a T16 might be the answer down the road.
