Three Questions for Hobie Employees

One of the screws on my T2 cannot be tightened, it turns freely.

Depends on what it is threaded into... Molded-in inserts spinning would be unusual. May have a backing nut?

No, it's the right front corner bolt that attaches the crossbar to the starboard hull. I did not over tighten it, and haven't removed the crossbar to determine what is the issue.

That's a bummer. I couldn't tell if the T2 has a backer nut or a plate at what otherwise looks like a molded-in fitting.
Unrelated to this, both my crossbar bolts are a little loose anyway because getting to a snug (hand)-tight fit meant the bolt tabs weren't aligned with the bridle-end connectors. So, I've about 0.5mm of vertical play in the crossbar at each end, but know that the bolts can't unwind because the bridle prevents that.
Oops, just realized you were talking about the main front (tramp) crossbar and not the bow-spreader bar! Those former bolts don't go thru the hull on mine (when looking from the inside) so there must be some sort of molded-in anchor within the thick plastic at those sites.
