Most weekends are spent on Lake Arthur, it's a man made lake in western PA with mostly unpredictable wind. It's often gusty, swirly and rarely consistent but that makes it all the more challenging. My girlfriend's light and can't solo her H16 in this wind so we team up on one boat or the other and take turns driving. This is our first time out with the new rigging and sails and we had the best sailors out on Sunday. "The Racers", they know their boats very well and have been at it and on them a long time so to get out on Silent Lightning and perform as well as we did was wonderful. And the boat is still 99% Hobie and proud of it!

Looks pretty awesome Buxton. If you get a chance can you send a picture of how you rigged your mainsheet to the H16 boom? Thanks!

My 16 boom has 2 boom bails, you can just hang it off of what ever yours has, some only have one. I'm using the front one so my 6:1 doesn't hit the tiller cross bar.

The boat is a blast, I noticed how much water came though the front hand hole and then spray up forward into the air, this was also felt as a drag under water. I've 3D printed a couple of plugs and can't wait to feel the difference. Tight fit but still easy to remove.
