Thanks Matt. I like the idea of not making additional hole But that can void the lowrance one year warranty. Still not a show stopper as i can always buy the factory cable and prove the issue as not related to cut data cable.

So i have everything i need now for ff install and just need to decide what Lowrance is just enough for what i plan to accomplish. Again thanks a lot.
