Sorry about the spelling of Oxen blocks, for some reason I had it in the back of my mind that it was spelled differently.

No problem. I put the link with the spelling to be sure we were talking about the same thing, not to correct you. I'll take those photos when you have them. Thanks.

I was the orginal post on this subject...I have since had the opportunity to sail the boat with the newly installed SX wing set-up. I was pretty pleasantly surprised that I didn't notice much, if any difference how I was setting and releasing from the hull or seated on the wing...
I have yet to sail trapped from the wing...we've had enough wind here but it's way too inconsistent on our small lake to get a good feel for what's going on there, tree lines and a really whacky shoreline creates some really nasty swirls, when it howls there, you'd just better not be cleated off much.
...I will soon get to Lake Erie on a nice South west wind, and then I can try out all the other great variations of settings recommended on all these other posts...I wouldn't have thought about switching boom bales to change cleating angle..though about Oxen ( and I remember when they spelled it like Oschen? ) but no one pronounced it correctly. Glad to hear the feedback there. Thanks
