My brother just bought a '84 H-18 SX. We've been sailing for decades but rigging this boat is unique to say the least. Is there an experienced H18 sailor in SoCal who might be willing to share their expertise to flatten out the learning curve? I can trailer the boat to your location.

The boat is in Fullerton but Mission Bay to Long Beach if required.

Richard,

I'm going to be coming down to Long Beach (I live in Bakersfield) most likely on Saturday evening (Sept 12th) for the Long Beach boat show and could possibly stop by your house that evening to help you out. An hour to an hour and a half would probably be all we need to get you going. :D Let me know if this works for you.

Richard,

Disregard my last post.....just found out that we won't be arriving in Long Beach until late Saturday night if not Sunday morning. Have you read the owners manual for the 18? http://www.hobiecat.com/support/pdfs/H18&SX_Manual.pdf
