Pablo, my boat is in Little River, SC. Right near Myrtle Beach. The offer of parts in Michigan would make more sense unless the prices are crazy. My boat is complete except the tramp, which I have but it is rotten. The trailer is in good condition and the sails are crisp. I would prefer to sell the whole thing but would consider parting it out if you don't have any luck elsewhere.

Central Michigan Sailor, please ding me offline at lunnjohn at magma dot ca, I may be interested in some of your H 18 stuff. There is an 80% chance I will be driving to Chicago next weekend, and I can easily detour. thanks

yeah he's got pretty much everything i need exept for a jib and a comptip. but considering the money i'm saving getting these parts getting a comptip wouldnt be much of a hassle. i dont even wanna think about shipping a close to 30 foot mast and as for picking it up its close to a 15-16 hrs drive so i dont thats gonna happen.

i'Ve been reading around on h18s and found out that there was a flaw in the desing in the years 1984 to 1989 that causes the hulls to break off just ahead of the foward crossbar. i've read about some ways to fix it but havent found any links (that are still working) including pictures that show how to do it. also i've ordered a bundle of parts from central michigan saior wich will include: full tiller assembly (including rudders), jib furler, trampoline, sail battens, jib forestay assembly. so all i'm missing now is a jib and a comptip. is there any links around of how to change a comptip?
