They are getting closer, but not yet in a container.

I´ve noticed some additional interest in hulls now that they are coming about and sold out. This question is for those posters is the interest genuine ?

I had some bad luck with the 18 I just bought a month ago during our first trip out. The rudder didn't kick and my transom paid dearly. Image
I'm knee deep in the repair now and it's going better than expected so I'm not sure is my best answer. Image
I think I should at least price out the cost of a new Hobie against the cost of new hulls before I make any decisions. If I get new hulls I'll also need to buy the H18 kick up rudder/tiller replacement kit since I still have the old style... and as it turns out, they really don't always kick up. :-) Ok, I should buy the kit new hulls or not if I'm not getting a new boat.... Perhaps I'll hit the lotto and get all of the above and a bigger house to keep it all.

What difference does it make? Hobie already said that they're only doing these 10 and that's it. If they're already sold out, then nobody else can get a new set anyway.

A couple of the guys who committed to ordering hulls may now want to pass or sell theirs.

That is correct, I might be one of them. Though if there is no interest I will gladly take posession of the hulls anyway.

Jim Sohn ordered a set for inventory. So that set is available. You can contact Jim @ [email protected]

I ordered a set in order to help make the deal come together. That set is available.

If someone wants a "like new" set at a discount, I will sell my 2004 hulls that have been garage stored all of their life,
have never been on the beach without a set of cat wheels underneath them, and are in excellent condition

Then I will just put the new hulls under my current platform.

If anyone wishes to discuss pricing or possible options, please shoot me an E-Mail @ [email protected]
