Hello everyone, I'm new to the forum. I recently purchased a 1983 H18. I was thumbing through the Hobie catalog (looking for upgrades) and seen a part number for a dagger well neoprene kit(60309001). There is no description of this product and was just wondering if it was to help protect the dagger well? If so is anyone using it, does it work? Any info appreciated............Thanks

That kit is for newer Hobie 18s only. We changed the well manufacturing process in the late 80's. That required the addition of the neoprene to tighten up the board fit as the bottom.
