Does anyone have a sketch or picture of the "butterfly" piece. I know my wings didn't come with it and am wondering what it would take to make one.

It is just a narrower anchor plate that is not riveted to the crossbar.

Stainless strap about 4-5 inches long. Bent in a "V" with a short flat at the bottom of the V. Hole in the middle for the stud.
