In some ways, I do too. The nice thing about the old style is that there is no cam to accidentally get stuck in the wrong position. If they're adjusted properly, the old style works just fine.

The whole key in tuning the old style rudders, in my opinion, is to keep the screw tension at the minimum necessary. Also the rudders must have very little to no slop in them. A little judicial use of a metal file in just the right areas and the rudders latch and unlatch with a minimum of force consistently and precisely.
