Post subject:  trampoline install tips?

I bought a new to me front beam...thanks Jeremy!...and am installing the tramp. However, I'm having a tough time with the luff groove. Any tips?

I use a big screw driver, put it through the closest grommet, and use it like a T handle to pull the tramp through slot. Make sure you have the tramp lined up so it goes through the slot easily.

I spray all the tracks (front, back, and sides) with silicone before installing the tramp. Usually slides in no problem.

I redid my trampoline the other day;

I also find that it's best to tension the aft lacings before tensioning the center lacing. By tensioning the aft lacing first, you take out all the wrinkles that can form along the side tracks. If you do the center first, then the tramp won't slide along the side tracks and you'll be stuck with the wrinkles.
