 Post subject: Powder coating all parts

Has anyone ever seen or heard of this being done.
How did it look? Thinking of doing the entire boat in white.
I heard Hobie had a version at one time like this but the coating didn't hold up.
How hard is it to get off a comp-tip? It wont fit in the baking oven.

It looks cool (at first), but it's heavy and it chips.

Hobie Cat did it in the early '90s. Lots of problems with chipping. White's probably the worst color to do. It hides nothing.

My entire mast, boom and cross bars are all white. Yes maybe it shows marks etc, but hell it looks great.
