I sail on Fern Ridge reservoir with a bunch of Prindle sailors. A great bunch of guys, but they are not knowledgeable in H18 tuning.

Is there anyone close by who can help me with the in and outs of H18 sailing.

What are your questions? There are several of us with many years of H18 experience that post to the forum regularly and that can likely tell you anything you need to know. Also use the search function and you will probably get the answers you need without even asking the questions.

There is a group up there somewhere... they may not be active on this forum though. There's a cluster of us 18 sailors in nortern and central California as well as other parts of the country. As srm said... we can probably help you with questions, although it sounds more like you're looking to meet up with some people. There is a group out of Eureka CA that has a pretty big event coming up this weekend... Fleet 418, it's a bit of a trek for you, but if you hit those guys up, they might know about some groups more local to you.

Contact Jim Wood, fleet 72 in Portland [email protected]

he can get you connected...
there is a regatta coming up there in a few weeks... at the Eugene Yacht Club.

also, if you can travel, there are some division regattas coming to southern Wash State... I'll be coming down to a few (Yale Lake, Damon Point... )
