Hi all,
Another season coming to a close here in New Jersey and I know the material on my wings will need replacing before next year. It's a gray mesh currently but I'm wondering if I should switch to Vinyl (more comfortable on rear end maybe?) or stick with mesh. Love any opinions.

once the vinyl is worn out the wings are shot. you should just sell me what is left. :D
i would think mesh would be preferable, as it would dry faster and hold less water. maybe it doesn't last as long?

Thanks for that. Yea have to say moved from a 16 to 18sx a few years ago and those wings make all the difference!

Good point on vinyl holding water. That would likely make righting a little more difficult too. Mesh it is!

i doubt mesh would change things much during a righting maneuver. the holding water part i spoke of, i meant while you are sitting on the things.

Vinyl might hold up a little better, but mesh dries a lot faster. The 18 tends to toss a lot of water on the wings (at speed) so I prefer mesh.

More importantly though, get cup holders. 3 per side is a good number.
