Have gotten a older 18 and can not find answer to 2 rigging questions . #1 The main sail halyard was removed from mast for storage. How is the correct way to install it ? inside the mast track? # 2 The mast base pin has but one clip on it . after raising the mast is this to be removed ? or if it remains I thought to buy a pin with 2 clips ? Thx good sailing |

The made pin is only there to aid you in easing it the mast. Remove it once your mast is up and shrouds are connected. You can set shroud tension after you pull the pin. Run the main halyard under the bottom pulley and inside the mast to the top, the. Over the top pulley and back down on the outside of the mast. |
